I have changed the format slightly for this year. Instaed of playing the songs to my form class I will be playing songs at a lunch time club to a mixture of 11-16 year olds who have an interest in music. As far as you are all concerned it is the same as last year!! I will publish the results on a daily basis to keep the excitement levels high.

Does the song have to be different to last year's?

did it win last year?

could it win with the luck of the draw?

Can we wait until our album is finished? We've been recording it for two months. I wouldn't want to put the same tired tracks in as last year considering the new stuff is the best recordings that we have ever done and make anything else that we have ever recorded sound like it was done on a tandy cassette deck.. We sound like a different band..They are ridiculously good and will change several warped and incorrect opinions on this forum when they materialise...

Same song is ok. You can even change your song mid cup.

Email me an mp3. The kids won't mind if it's not mixed etc. They don't seem to mind rough recordings.

I haven't recorded the vocals yet..heh.. They might think we are one of those DIY bands that fester in the underground prog scenes and all sound the same.

I don't have a band at the moment but I get very bored at work and would like to follow this thread. Would entering a now-defunct band into the cup be acceptable or would it ruin it for others whose future careers may depend on cup glory? Would I have to reform the band and go into Europe in the event we won??

how many foreigners are you allowed in your band? if we have members who are in other bands does this cup tie them?

As a Leeds fan my expectations aren't very high, i'd be happy to make it to the 3rd round!

We got knocked out by blueskyproject last year, felt like the equivalent of man utd losing to histon.
