Hi guys.

I'm a journalist for North Leeds News (formerly West Riding Post) at Leeds Trinity. Just letting you know that we are looking to review some Leeds bands for our fortnightly newspaper.

So if you're in a band based in the Leeds/Bradford/Ilkley triangle, feel free to send us any CDs or gig information and we'll do our best to get you in the following edition. Our newspaper is distributed in a number of local supermarkets and libraries and is issued to the regional newspapers, so there is a good potential for exposure.

We always try to get through as many of the CDs we get sent as possible.

Oh and we are also starting gig nights in Leeds as well so in a position to put bands on that want gigs as well.

Please don't send me stuff for review, I'm utterly swamped over here! Trying to get the reviews done always kills me and means the zine comes out either really late or not at all!

I write a blog called Not For Want of Trying. It basically involves me posting a streaming MP3 along with a small bio/brief review. Music is welcomed from all genres, but more specifically post-rock, indie/alternative, ambient etc.
